Can I take a casting class?

Yes! The festival offers casting instruction with one of the greats, master angler and fly tyer Ed Jaworowski, for $100. Students meet on either Saturday or Sunday at 8:30 am in Constitution Park and enjoy in-depth, intensive instruction from Ed until 11 am, at which point students are invited to enjoy the rest of the festival (admission is included in the casting class fee). Students are encouraged to bring their own rod; arrangements can be made, however, to allow students to borrow rods for this class at no additional charge. This is a special class for our anniversary year and will generally sell out quickly; You may purchase tickets from the “buy tickets” menu item, or by calling (703) 402-8338 or send ing an email to director@vaflyfishingfestival.org to sign up.
